IROP 1, IROP 2 and ITI projects 2016-2018
On 21 January 2016, the Ministry for Regional Development of the Czech Republic announced the 20th Call for Proposals, entitled „Low and zero emission vehicles“, for applications for support from the Integrated Regional Operational Programme (IROP), specific objective 1.2 - Increasing the share of sustainable forms of transport. Due to the set rules of the call, the Hradec Králové City Transport Company, a.s. prepared two fleet renewal projects:
- Project No. CZ.06.1.37/0.0/0.0/16_022/0001390 - Acquisition of emission-free vehicles for public transport purposes (hereinafter referred to as „IROP Project 1“),
- Project No. CZ.06.1.37/0.0/0.0/16_022/0001388 - Acquisition of electric buses and trolleybuses with auxiliary drive for public transport in Hradec Králové (hereinafter referred to as „IROP 2 project“).
IROP 1 project
- The project includes 15 electric buses,
- The application was submitted on 13 June 2016 and the decision to award the grant was issued on 6 March 2017.
IROP 2 project
- The project includes 5 electric buses and 3 trolleybuses with auxiliary battery drive,
- The application was submitted on 13 June 2016 and the decision to award the grant was issued on 6 March 2017.
On 1 September 2016, the Ministry for Regional Development of the Czech Republic announced the 50th continuous call for applications for support from the Integrated Regional Operational Programme (IROP), specific objective 1.2 - Increasing the share of sustainable forms of transport. Integrated Territorial Investments (ITI) are intended for implementation in the largest metropolitan areas of national importance - in this case the Hradec-Pardubice agglomeration. Within the framework of this call, the Hradec Králové Transport Company prepared a fleet renewal project - Purchase of 6 trolleybuses with auxiliary battery drive for public transport in Hradec Králové (hereinafter referred to as „ITI Project“).
ITI project
- The project includes 6 trolleybuses with auxiliary battery drive,
- The project plan was submitted to the ITI Steering Committee on 31 October 2016 and the ITI Steering Committee's statement on the project plan's compliance with the ITI Strategy was issued on 22 November 2016,
- After signing the contract with the selected contractor, Dopravní podnik města Hradce Králové, a.s. will submit an application for subsidy funds in accordance with the ITI rules - expected date September 2017.
On the basis of the above-mentioned projects, the Hradec Králové City Transport Company, a.s. issued the following public contracts:
Delivery of electric buses and charging technology in 2017 - 2018
- delivery of 20 electric buses (15 under IROP 1; 5 under IROP 2),
- public tender launched on 21 March 2017,
- due to additional questions from tenderers and the resulting obligation of the contracting authority to extend the deadline for submission of tenders accordingly, the deadline was extended until 11 July 2017,
- The 15-day deadline for submitting objections to the selection decision is currently running and the complete tender documentation has been sent to the CRR for review,
- after the above deadline and the approval of the documentation and the course of the tender, the contract with the contractor will be signed - expected date August 2017,
- Vehicle deliveries will be in May 2018 (10 electric buses) and August 2018 (10 electric buses).
Delivery of trolleybuses with auxiliary battery drive in 2018
- delivery of 9 trolleybuses with auxiliary battery drive (3 pcs within the IROP 2 project; 6 pcs within the ITI project),
- public contract launched on 24 February 2017,
- due to additional questions from tenderers and the resulting obligation of the contracting authority to extend the deadline for submission of tenders accordingly, the deadline was extended until 19 July 2017,
- Currently, the decision to select a contractor is about to be signed and sent to the selected contractor,
- After the 15-day period for submitting objections to the decision on the selection of the contractor and the approval of the documentation and the procurement process by the CRR, the contract with the contractor will be signed - expected date August 2017.
- Vehicle deliveries will be in June 2018 (3 trolleybuses - IROP 2) and August 2018 (6 trolleybuses - ITI).
