In Hradec Králové public transport you can pay by IREDO card. HopOn ends and only paper tickets are available at the tourist information centre

Passengers who use not only public transport but also suburban transport will appreciate the possibility to use the IREDO card when purchasing tickets from the Hradec Králové City Transport Company. From 1 April 2025, the IREDO card can be used to purchase individual tickets at the ticket readers. The card can also be added as an identifier to the Client Zone of the transport company. We would like to remind you that on 31 March the possibility of purchasing tickets in the HopOn app will end and only paper tickets will be available for sale at the Tourist Information Centre on Eliščina nábřeží.
„We are pleased that the card for suburban transport has been integrated into the fare system in Hradec Králové public transport,“ says Deputy Mayor for Transport Miroslav Hloušek. „I am pleased that both Pardubice and Hradec Králové transport companies are already involved in the integration system,“ adds Petr Moravec, Managing Director of OREDO. If customers use the Integrated Regional Transport Card of the Hradec Králové and Pardubice Regions to top up their credit, they can also use it to buy individual tickets in public transport vehicles from 1 April 2025. Just attach the IREDO card to the reader. At the same time, it is possible to add the IREDO card as a so-called time ticket carrier to the Client Zone of the Hradec Králové City Transport Company and thus be able to use it to present a valid flat-rate ticket. This means, for example, a monthly or annual pass within the public transport system.
„We would also like to remind you of the previously announced end of the HopOn application, all functions of which will be taken over by the Client Zone,“ adds Zdeněk Abraham, director of the transport company. As of 31 March 2025, we are also discontinuing the services of the transport company in the tourist information centre on the waterfront, where it will no longer be possible to buy time tickets. However, it will remain possible to buy paper individual tickets there.
