Public transport in Hradec Králové allows you to purchase tickets in many ways, including unregistered contactless payment cards right in the car. For easier orientation we offer next to overall ticket overview also a simple signpost and recommended procedures.

I drive occasionally

I am a tourist, on a business trip, I live in Hradec but I use public transport sporadically.

Purchase a ticket in public transport with a payment card by attaching it to the check-in system

We recommend using a credit card

  1. Attach a contactless payment card to the reader in the car
  2. Automatically purchase a transfer ticket for 60 min. for 25 CZK
  3. Are you entitled to a discounted ticket (e.g. child or senior citizen)? First press „Select another ticket“, select the correct one, confirm and attach.

Getting off in 10 minutes? Attach the card again when you exit and the system will change the ticket to the cheaper option.

We recommend registration in the Client Zone

  1. Register in the Client Zone (online at dpmhk.qrbus.me or at customer service centres)
  2. Buy a time ticket (e.g. monthly, annual or school ticket)
  3. As a ticket carrier, you can choose the Public Transport Chip Card, Chip Pendant, register your payment card, QR code and other options

The ticket carrier with a valid time ticket must be attached to the on-board ticket reader only after 19:00, when boarding is through the front door. Possibly during the inspection by the inspector.

Children up to 6 years old and their one companion including a stroller, ZTP, ZTP/P, PTP and KPV.

Method of proving a claim:

  • Children up to 6 years old with an escort 10+ - e.g. insurance card, birth certificate or child's passport (a copy is sufficient)
  • Disabled and Disabled/P - original valid ID card
  • PTP and PKV - original valid ID card

One child under 6 years old = one companion free of charge. The other parent/chaperone must have a valid ticket. V overall overview you will find even more groups with free transport.
