Regulation No.3/2019 of the City of Hradec Králové on maximum fares of public transport in the city of Hradec Králové and in the transport connected municipalities
The Hradec Králové City Council, by Resolution No. RM/2019/1469 of 10 December 2019, issued a resolution pursuant to Section 4a(1) of Act No. 265/1991 Coll., on the competence of the authorities of the Czech Republic in the field of prices, as amended, and in accordance with Section 11 of Act No. 128/2000 Coll., on municipalities, as amended.

Article 1
This Regulation establishes the maximum fares in urban public transport (MHD) valid from 1 January 2020 in the city of Hradec Králové operated by the Transport Company of the City of Hradec Králové, a.s., with registered office at Pouchovská 153/52, Věkoše, 500 03 Hradec Králové.
Article 2
Fares are inclusive of the applicable VAT rate.

(2) When purchasing a ticket on working days between 04:00 and 19:00, the validity of the ticket is 45 minutes from the time of purchase; between 19:00 and 04:00, on weekends and on public holidays throughout the day, the validity is 60 minutes from the time of purchase.
(3) If purchased on a weekend or holiday, the ticket is valid for one adult and up to two children under the age of 15.
Sending an SMS ticket order is charged to the passenger according to the tariff of the operator used by the passenger.

Pre-paid time fares in Hradec Králové
Valid for driving in Hradec Králové. For journeys in traffic-connected municipalities, it is necessary to purchase an individual fare in cash for CZK 15 at the driver's counter.

Traffic-polluted municipalities in public transport
Public transport in Hradec Králové serves the transport-connected municipalities of Běleč nad Orlicí, Divec, Lochenice, Předměřice nad Labem, Stěžery, Stěžírky and Vysoká nad Labem.

Article 10
Discounted fares
Discounted individual and pre-paid time fares are provided to children and pupils attending compulsory school between the ages of 6 and 15 and to citizens over the age of 65. Discounted subscription time fares pursuant to Articles 3 to 9 shall be granted to primary and secondary school pupils and university students aged between 15 and 26. Eligibility shall be proved by proof of studies. Eligibility for a discounted season ticket for holders of the Czech Red Cross Golden Cross 3rd Class award shall be proved by the applicant's diploma or pass at the ticket office.
